I meant to watch this movie for a while and finally today I got to see it, yay!
Thoughts (spoilers included):
I loved this movie so much! It was warm, it was sunny, it was interesting;
The story: Mo-rae and Sang-in are happily married after being inseparable since childhood. One day (their anniversary) Mo-rae meets a stranger in a gallery and spontaneously has sex with him. She tells her husband and he is able to overcome it. The problem is the guy she cheated with is Park Du-re, Sang In’s friend and new business partner, essential to success of the restaurant Sang-in is trying to open. Mo-rae gets more and more confused as the time passes.
I thought it was a very interesting story and I was intrigued at who she would pick in the end.
Mo-rae is played by flawless perfect queen Shin Min-Ah, she did an amazing job portraying this loveable woman, who may be extremely naive,rather irresponsible and prone to follow her feelings of the moment. Yet Mo-rae was so honest too. Kim Tae Woo plays Sang-in and is equally great, it was interesting to see how his character is slowly realizing that his marriage may not be as secure as he thought. Ju Ji Hoon plays Du-Re, I loved watching him here, he changed since Goong days, he looked really manly, yet boyish too, I loved it.
Romance: Shin Min-Ah is one of these actresses that don’t hold back when it comes to love scenes, they give their all, thus making every kiss look natural. Her cuddly personality adds to it too. Love scene in the gallery was hot, cinematography and all. Ju Ji Hoon is great in it too. It was interesting to see comparison between comfortable familiar relationship with Sang In and exciting feelings for Du-Re.
The ending was confusing, as I understood it, Mo-rae chose neither, although loving them both. Sang-In and Mo-rae divorced, but remained friends, Du-Re left, but they will be reunited because Sang-In misses his friend too. We never know if they lived as a happy family all together or what…So yeah, the ending was a bit strange but oh well, let our imaginations do the work, I’d like to think they lived on as friends all three of them raising the baby together .
This movie is pretty, Mo-rae’s clothes, her little shop, her hairstyle…I loved all the food. The music was awesome. Also the house, omg, how I want their house!
Done with all full versions of 6 eps that were available on dramafever, can’t wait to see how the story will develop.
Thoughts:
It’s the first reality show for me in years, since I hate the genre in general, but this one was too cute to pass up;
Gui Gui and Taec are hilarious. I know nothing about Taec really since I’m not following 2pm (should I?), but he seems like a somewhat boring dude (judging by his talks) . Gui Gui is so adorable though and her personality is awesome. It’s so much fun to see how she makes all these lolarious situations that create a spark. Like I’ve said before this couple is bonded by lolz, and while Taec doesn’t try as hard as Hongki, he still looks after Gui Gui and does nice things for her, if only he was not so awkward about it. Still I can see them becoming a real couple too, because Gui Gui will win his heart eventually, and they will have the marriage that is seriously fun. Or they can become great friends.
Mina and Hongki are my OTP forevah, I swear. Again I don’t know much about either, but I can tell the chemistry is awesome here. They seem to genuinely adore each other more and more. Mina is this type that guys just worship, she’s gorgeous at everything she does. Hongki is too sweet. This couple is the one I’m putting my money on to definitely develop something real further on, because they look like they already fall in love.
I wonder if this show has ever produced real couples? Friendships that transition into real life too? I don’t know how can they look at each other like that and not fall in love for real.
When I first started to watch Asian dramas I was amazed by the lack of physical contact and even now it surprises me to see people being so shy. But then again, I can see how it builds up feelings and sexual tension too, instead of getting it on right away and be done with it.
There is so much pretty in this show, I could never see myself getting married like that so no white dress for me, but seeing other people having so much fun is heartwarming.
Gonna keep watching as eps come out, may check out regular show too
I’m going to watch Taecyon and GUI Gui’s parts. They are so hilarious. I love how while Hongki and Mina’s bond seems based on romance and everything cute, T. And G.G. couple is bonded by lolz. Enjoying this show tremendously.
Now they are picking wedding dresses and my face hurts from all the smiling. And it’s 1 am already and I have to get up at 7…but it is so cute, I think I’ll finish watching everything available and then go to bed.
